Patridge was hired at Quixote Studios in Los Angeles as a receptionist shortly after her move there. Patridge was the actress who played Montag and Conrad's friends in the MTV show The Hills, was also cast as part of The Hills. The Hills seasons 2-5 featured Patridge as a friend of Conrad and Montag. The Hills seasons 2-5, Patridge was employed by Epic Records. On May 28, she made it clear during an On Air With Ryan Seacrest interview that she was leaving The Hills for her own reality show that will document the rest of her life. Patridge was signed up to the sixth (and final) season, however the show's creator Mark Burnett produced new series which was scheduled to broadcast on MTV at the midpoint of 2010 but was delayed because of The Hills. Patridge was in many episodes of The Hills compared to any other cast member. Patridge started her Hollywood career by appearing on the reality show The Hills and then landed a minor role in Into the Blue 2 The Reef. The film was released on DVD on April 21, 2009. Patridge appeared on Mad TV, Do Not Disturb and Do Not Disturb. In August 2008 she was cast as Megan on the show Sorority Row. Sorority Row film. Patridge was on Carl's Jr. advertisements from 2009 to 2012 She denied rumors she'd be in the role that was modeled after Her Hills co-star Lauren Conrad, in the movie adaptation of L.A. Candy based upon Conrad's novel.
