Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an acclaimed American writer of cook books over the years. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002. Ina started her career writing nuclear energy policies and budgets for the White House. In the beginning, she was enthralled by the intellectual stimulation that came with her work, but she soon lost enthusiasm. In her place, she purchased Barefoot Contessa, a specialty restaurant. The store was a success for 18 years. the business extremely profitable before letting it go and grabbing a pen and writing her first book. Numerous different cookbooks and magazines followed. Another hit came from her Food Network Television show. The company sells numerous items, from the ingredients needed for cooking to kitchenware and storage. Ina did not go to a cookery school nor was she employed at a restaurant. Ina is a self-taught cook. Her name is known for her easy way of entertaining and easy cooking. Some of her best known recipes include the Skillet-Roasted lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
