Annie Mist Thorisdottir works as a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She also is the founder of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it in addition. Annie was the first woman ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. Annie was second at the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit and media celebrity. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. A winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and 2017, Annie is well-known. Annie, her parents, and her siblings were born and brought up within Reykjavik Iceland. She enjoyed playing sports and began working out at the age of five. Her first participation was time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games held in California in which she performed well. Annie Thorisdottir is, at the time of her 2021 birthday, is aged 31. She stands at 5'7" tall, and weighs around 67 pounds. Annie started with her CrossFit journey in 2009 in California. The first time she competed, she was very successful and was ranked in the Top 10 out of 70. However, she didn't win a championship and concluded with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed in seconds place and won a silver medal in the same year. It was in her second year of competition that she competed again in CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she became the very first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. Annie has an impressive 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first female to win each of the CrossFit Games. In 2014, she won a gold medal. Then in 2021 she won the bronze medal. At present, Annie is a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her.
