Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also the owner of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it as well. Annie is the first female to take home the CrossFit Games twice. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion, and a popular media figure. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. Winner of The Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2017, Annie is well-known. Annie was brought up with her family in Reykjavik Iceland. As a fitness enthusiast since at an early age, Annie participated in various school games and was awarded numerous medals. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit Games in California where she performed relatively good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 by 2021. Her height is about 5'7 and she weighs 67 kilograms. Annie started CrossFit when she was in California. She performed quite well through the first couple of matches. Annie was ranked among the top 10 out of more than 70. The team did not get any results from the tournament, and ended it with a ranking of eleven. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished second and took home the silver medal same year. In the following year she took part in CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performances. It was her first time as a woman to ever be the winner of CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie also won in the CrossFit Games because of her outstanding performance. In addition, she was the first female athlete who won the two CrossFit Games consecutively. Additionally, in 2014, she was awarded a silver medal and in the year 2021 she won bronze in CrossFit Games. Presently Annie works as a trainer and coach at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie has become a famous athlete when she gained fame. She's worked on behalf of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydroxylysis Sidekick Yerbae and many more. She also has her own Youtube channel named "Annie" which has over 1,000 followers. The channel is where she uploads videos about eating habits, parenting as well as travel.
