Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actress, best famous for her portrayal of Margo on 'The Magicians' an Syfy drama series about fantasy that ran through 2015 until today. The Alan Ball movie 'Towelhead, she played a 13-year old Lebanese American girl Jasira who is undergoing a series of personal struggles with the backdrop of the U.S. war in Iraq in the Gulf War. Her character was chosen in 2007 as one of the 'Variety Ten actors to watch'. In the 2009 movie Crossing Over she played Taslima Jhangir. In addition, she was nominated in the Independent Spirit Award category for 'Best female lead'. She has also acted in films like 'Mooz-lum', 'The Last Airbender and 'Pop Star' and 'Under the Silver lake The Silver Lake'.
