Hayley orrantia was born and raised in the US. She is primarily an actress, but she's also a songwriter and singer. Most people know the name as Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. She believes that she is a musician first and foremost. According her, is the first thing she enjoys. She began playing with the instrument at the age of nine. When she reached 12 years old, her music took an adolescent turn and she started training professionally. In the age of 13, she began creating songs. The first time she recorded an album when she was 14. The rest is history. Orrantia was born in the USA and yet she has Hispanic origins. While she has never lived in or spoke Spanish in Mexico She is strongly proud of her Hispanic roots. She tries to keep it alive by learning to speak Spanish and creating songs in the Spanish language. One of her efforts was an original Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' Orrantia was picked to perform for the X Factor's inaugural season, which aired in summer 2011. Orrantia, who was initially chosen by a panel of YouTube videos, received the four "yeses," from judges who were in Seattle during live audition phase. Her initial audition was for "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. Three other women singers and she were brought together for auditions of for the remaining tracks. The group was eliminated from the show in the fifth week of live performances.
